From July 7 through August 6, the Utica City School District Athletics Department hosted its annual Summer Soccer Clinic, with sessions held at Donovan Middle School before wrapping upat Proctor High School’s stadium.
The four-week clinic gave student-athletes the opportunity to stay active, sharpen their skills and build confidence throughout the summer. Players of all experience levels participated in engaging training sessions focused on individual skill development, game strategy and teamwork.
Throughout the program, participants worked on essential soccer fundamentals, including ball control, passing accuracy, tactical awareness, agility and overall conditioning. Each day emphasized skill development, sportsmanship and a strong work ethic, helping prepare athletes for a successful fall soccer season.
