Ms. Carpenter’s marketing classes recently showcased their hard work and creativity through a culminating “Shark Tank”-style presentation. Throughout the year, students developed original product ideas and for this final project, they pitched their concepts to a panel of judges. Each presentation highlighted key business components, including identifying a target market, defining the problem their product solves, outlining their goals and determining pricing strategies. It was an engaging and authentic way for students to bring together everything they’ve learned this year. It was especially exciting to see collaboration with the department, local business, technology and CTE teachers stepping in as the “sharks” to provide feedback and support.
