Proctor High School’s Career and Technical Education and Special Education Departments collaborated in coordinating a work-based learning experience hosted and organized by SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Office of Workforce Development, where students engaged in interactive STEM activities designed to build practical skills in a supportive environment. In addition to exploring these hands-on opportunities, students learned about the wide range of academic programs and campus resources available at SUNY Poly, including the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and Student Accessibility Services, which provide additional support for student success in higher education. This experience helped students connect classroom learning to real-world applications while gaining valuable insight into potential college and career pathways.
