Students in Ms. Mazur’s Medical Terminology class and Mr. Smith’s Introduction to Healthcare class recently had the opportunity to become CPR certified thanks to a visit from the MVHS EMS Education team. The training took place in Proctor High School’s new Health Professions Lab, where students learned and practiced lifesaving skills including proper chest compressions, rescue breathing and how to respond in an emergency situation. Through this hands-on training, 103 students successfully earned their CPR certification, gaining valuable knowledge and confidence that can help them respond to real-life emergencies while preparing for future careers in the healthcare field.
