CTE: Utica University Campus Tour

Mrs. Nix’s 11th grade English classes recently swapped their desks for a day of discovery at Utica University. The immersive campus tour offered juniors a vital glimpse into the transition from high school to higher education.

Throughout the day, students navigated the university’s academic corridors and vibrant student hubs. Beyond just seeing the facilities, the group learned about academic majors, getting a true feel for the "day in the life" of a college student. Admissions representatives were on hand to demystify the application process, offering tips on how to stand out and navigate the leap into university life.

More than just a field trip, this experience was about inspiration. For many juniors, the visit turned "one day" into "day one," sparking meaningful conversations about career paths, academic interests and the personal goals they hope to achieve in the coming years.
