MLK held its annual Test Prep Pep Rally to get students pumped up for New York State testing. Second-grade teachers hosted the pep rally to share tips for taking the test and the MLK Dramatic Dreamers Drama Club performed a short skit on doing their best. Students were also reminded of the importance of being on time, getting enough rest and eating a good breakfast. The pep rally also featured fun twists like teachers “walking the plank,” a friendly bowling competition and a balloon pop. MLK strongly believes in reminding students to do their best and represent themselves and their school. Thank you to Mrs. Miller, AIS coordinator, for supplying a “Woot-Woot!” snack and beverage cart for testing proctors.
