Baby Chicks Bring Learning to Life

Classrooms at General Herkimer were hatching with excitement as baby chicks made a special appearance during a hands-on science lesson. Students learned all about the egg hatching process and got to watch it happen up close using an incubator in the classroom. They also got creative with egg-themed arts and crafts to go along with what they were learning. The best part for many students was getting to see and interact with the fluffy, newly hatched chicks.
