Kernan second graders learned about seeds while enjoying an agriculture presentation with Ms. Whitney from the Cornell Cooperative Extension. They planted a garden in a glove. The glove contained five types of seeds typically found on a farm. Students enjoyed learning through hands-on activities. They watched as their seeds burst open and began to sprout inside the clear gloves.
